These flowering herbs are easy to grow and will last for many years, giving you long-lasting fragrant herbs. No more worries, here are our best safe home cleaners you can make with popular garden herbs. So, take a look at some of these flowering herb choices and add some to your yard or garden. Even if you do not use them, you will still like their appearance.

1 lavender

You can create a natural carpet cleaner at home using lavender to bring a new scent and you will feel more relaxed and calm. Mix a cup of baking soda and about 10 to 12 drops of lavender essential oil. Sprinkle the mixture on your carpet and wait 30 minutes before vacuuming.

2 bay leaves

Bay leaves are very effective in repelling six-legged insects of any kind. Ideally, place a few dried bay leaves on the pantry shelves. Alternatively, if you have a kitchen door, hang a spring to dry inside the door.

3 Rosemary

You can create a natural all-purpose cleaning spray around the house using rosemary. Method: Collect some springs of rosemary with some orange peel. Soak these in a jar of white vinegar for a few weeks, then strain the solution and mix in equal parts water. Keep the mixture in a spray bottle and use it as needed. Rosemary provides strong disinfectant properties that will keep your home clean and fragrant.

4 Oregano

Oregano is an antibiotic that is powerful enough, so this herb is a perfect and non-toxic alternative to bleach. You can also use it to clean surfaces you use for cooking and hand washing. Although it does not work like oregano bleach, it does not come with harmful chemicals and harmful fumes.

5 cloves

Clove provides antiseptic and antifungal properties, making it perfect for combating household molds. Make sure you have 100% clove oil and add 1/2 teaspoon to the spray bottle filled with water. Spray the solution to sit on the tile grout and let it sit for two hours. Then use a scrub brush to remove stubborn dirt.

6 lemon balm

Lemon is a tough de-greasier, and it comes with fresh, clean scents suitable for cleaning the kitchen. You can do this by collecting a handful (approximately 1/2 cup) of lemon balm leaves from your herb garden and placing them in a jar with 1 1/2 cups of white vinegar. Allow the mixture to sit for at least 2 weeks, then strain the leaves and pour the solution into a spray bottle.

7 Mint

Mint acts as a natural pesticide. Mix 1/2 teaspoon peppermint oil and 1/2 teaspoon don dish soap with water. If you put the mixture in a spray bottle, you can easily repel pests around your house like flies, ants, and spiders. Spray around windows and doors to prevent bugs (add 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice for extra flavor).

8 Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus has antibacterial and antiviral properties, combining well with eucalyptus tea tree oil to make home cleaning products in the bathroom. Mix 5-6 drops of each oil in water in a spray bottle daily for easy cleaning of the bathroom sink, shower, faucet handles, and counter surfaces.

Garden Plants Lighten Up with These Crisp White and Green Selections

Crisp White and Green Selections That Thrive in the Heat 1. The Rule of Three "Instead of a boxwood or other shrub, you can use containers to anchor a space or garden bed," says landscape designer Carmen Johnston of Bespoke Garden Plans in Thomaston, Georgia. What's the trick to making it work? When choosing your containers, choose three that are the same shape and material — one small, one medium, and one large. She chose 'Cora Cascade Polka Dot' vinca as the base for all the containers. In the second container, she brought in 'White Delight' caladiums and 'Lemon Twist' plectranthus for height. In the largest container, she filled the same plants with 'Kimberly Queen' ferns, 'Peppermint' strap-leaf caladiums, and creeping jennies for warm, summery color. These are low-maintenance choices because, as Johnston says, “they can handle intense heat and full sun.” 2. Garden Type “We don’t need to add flowers to create a beau...
